Strong 256-bit AES encryption
The Transcend ESD270C supports 256-bit AES encryption, which securely and reliably protects data at the hardware level. AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is an encryption algorithm defined by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Encryption and decryption occur entirely within the SSD's controller, without the intervention of the operating system or software, making hardware-based AES encryption impossible to crack.
