TP-LINK Tapo H100 Smart Hub - Home Automation Controller
The Tapo H100 is a smart hub manufactured by TP-LINK, which not only notifies you of visitors but also leaves them waiting eagerly at the door, wondering what kind of owner such a sweet-sounding device might have. The Tapo H100 is compatible with other smart devices in the Tapo series; you can connect up to 64 Tapo devices to it, such as thermometers, door/window sensors, motion detectors, or buttons. With a motion detector and/or a door/window sensor, you can build a burglar alarm: when the sensors detect movement or the door/window sensor opens, the central unit will alert with a loud 90 dB sound to a possible break-in. The H100 can also utilize other devices connected to the Tapo application, such as smart plugs and smart bulbs. You can use the hub to create smart functions or schedules, based on which the smart plugs operate and supply power to the devices connected to them.
The Tapo Hub, which connects to your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, can operate locally if needed, without requiring an internet connection. This enables more reliable and faster operations, regardless of whether the internet is available or not.
