The P330 also supports scheduled recording, i.e., the time-lapse function. The camera is set to take pictures at desired intervals, and a video is formed from the series of images. The progress of a construction project, the spring awakening of plants, monitoring traffic flows, dawn – the applications are endless. The time-lapse function is available when recording to the camera's memory. The RLN8-410 recorder does not support this feature.
The 8MP video resolution is 4K Ultra HD level (3840x2160 pixels). With 3D DNR image noise reduction technology and infrared LEDs, the camera can see up to 30 meters in the dark. There is plenty of storage space for recordings as the camera supports microSD memory cards up to 256GB. The P330 supports H.265 video compression, so a 256GB memory card can hold up to 97 hours of video recorded from motion detection. Thanks to the integrated microphone, audio is also recorded. When playing videos with the Reolink App, you can choose whether to watch all videos or only recordings related to people or vehicles. For continuous recording, the P330 can be connected to an NVR recorder, such as the Reolink RLN8-410.
The aluminum, sturdy construction and IP67 rating protection make the camera durable for year-round outdoor use. Data and power are conveniently supplied via an Ethernet network cable (PoE, i.e., Power Over Ethernet), so there is no need to run a separate power cable. The camera also has a connector for a power supply (sold separately, not included in the package). The P330 consumes a maximum of 12W of power.
Video footage, smart motion detection, and settings can be managed in real-time with the Reolink App (Android and iOS) and Reolink Client software (Windows and macOS). Settings can be used to adjust motion detection sensitivity, define an email address to which video images are automatically sent when the camera detects motion, modify broader alarm functions, network settings, audio recording, and much more.
