The adapter adds a 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet port (802.3bz) to a device equipped with a USB-C port. It supports 802.1Q VLAN tagging, 802.3az energy saving functions, 9K jumbo frames, full-duplex mode (802.3x flow control) and Windows, Linux, and MacOS X operating systems. Requires a Cat5e or better Ethernet network cable.
