Louru 12-month warranty

Louru grants a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase for the refurbished, i.e., used, business laptops it sells. This is so you can have peace of mind making an ecological purchase at a reasonable price and start using a used laptop.

Louru's 12-month warranty

For used machines we sell, i.e. those refurbished by us , we grant a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. The date of purchase is shown either:

  • from a sticker attached to the machine; or
  • the date of the purchase receipt or order confirmation

Our warranty covers defects that occur during normal use of the equipment and possible equipment defects.

If you experience any problems with your computer during the warranty period, please contact our customer service. Our customer service will guide you through possible troubleshooting, service, or warranty repair.

We also sell new products, which are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which can be longer than 12 months.

Refund & maintenance

The buyer has the right to compensation if the product shows a defect as defined in the Consumer Protection Act. Our primary goal is to either repair the defective product or replace it with a defect-free or similar product. A price reduction to compensate for the defect may be considered as a secondary option. As a last resort, cancellation of the transaction may be considered.

Service performed during the warranty period and transportation costs between the service and the customer are free of charge. We only charge for troubleshooting during the warranty period in situations where the customer has knowingly submitted the device for unnecessary warranty repair. If the product is replaced, its warranty period does not start again from the beginning, but continues according to the original date of purchase.

Refund & maintenance

It is recommended to back up all important and personal data before sending it for service. Louru is not responsible for lost programs or data, even if the fault is not related to the hard drive.

When sending a product for warranty service, it is necessary to first contact Louru customer service. Send an email to info@louru.fi and describe the nature of the problem. Remember to include your order number in the message.

For warranty service, the product can be delivered either directly to the Louru store at Valtatie 36, 99100 KITTILÄ, or sent carefully packaged as a free customer return via Posti or Matkahuolto (for Finnish customers). Return fees apply for customers outside Finland. The customer return code you received from our customer service must be used in the shipment.
